Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting products and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role involves performing visual and dimensional inspections, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.

• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.

• Identify non-conforming materials or products and report findings.

• Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.

• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills and experience with quality management systems (QMS).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

• Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) is a plus.
