About the Role and about You:
The Managed Aircraft-Outside Sales position will be based in Hawthorne, CA or Phoenix, AZ. This role has a starting base salary of $70,000 plus commission.
You are highly motivated, organized, attentive to detail, communicate well, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
What you will do:
• Identify new opportunities for managed aircraft under Part 135 through outbound calls, email campaigns, networking, and market research. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
• Establish long-term relationships with aircraft owners, brokers, and industry partners. Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions, including proposals for charter, maintenance, and operational management under Part 135.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and sales pitches. Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures to secure new business.
• Work closely with internal teams (operations, marketing, customer service) to ensure smooth onboarding and management of newly acquired aircraft.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Provide client feedback to improve service offerings and business operations.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets for new managed aircraft. Report on sales activity and pipeline progress to senior management
What we are looking for:
• 10+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the aviation or private jet industry.
• Strong understanding of Part 135 regulations, aircraft management, charter services, and aviation industry standards.
• Ability to identify and generate new business opportunities independently.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
